Branching story events
story events can now chain into multi-scene stories: a choice can lead to a follow-up event, with persistent chain progress that survives saves and cloud sync. The first branching chain, **The Lost Kit**, ships with this release — keep an eye on the plinko wreckage after your runs.
Treat token combat awards
Token-Bearer and rarity treat token awards from combat now actually reach your balance (a missing Pet Store API was silently dropping them)
Story-event treat grants
no longer skipped when you own zero of that treat
Story-event codex unlocks
the unlockCodex story effect now really unlocks codex discoveries (was a silent no-op)
